My husband and I are wanting to build Tideland Haven at Kentucky Lake for our retirement. I have been watching John & Ellen, Butch & Barb, and now I am watching Randy & Amy build their Tideland Haven. I am looking forward to seeing how you make it your own. I have one question...the storm shelter! You are putting it where the laundry room is at right???? I really like the idea of a storm shelter. Looking forward to more. Tami Graves
Actually, the storm shelter is one if the master walk-in closets. (the one on the right if looking toward them.)
It is steel reinforced concrete and has a metal door. We will need to do something to "pretty" it up.
It's been wonderful to have other TH Plan builders blogging. It gives us things to consider and pictures to use as reference when we are telling the builder what we want.
